Rumors persist that SoloJaz briefly attended Syracuse University, where he reportedly used the campus T1 line to host private deathmatches at 3 a.m. while the rest of the dorm slept.
His closest ally during this era was Zorex, a Domino's pizza delivery driver in Ohio. The two never met in person. They only connected online as founding members of the infamous Skull Dragoon gaming mafia — an elite circle of players who had access to rare T1 connections, either through university or because their fathers were rich as hell.
Zorex was reportedly the only person SoloJaz trusted enough to share his secret "blindfolded Nightmare" techniques with. Their partnership was so legendary that some claim Zorex would coordinate ambushes between pizza deliveries while SoloJaz dominated from his privileged connection.
